Il Crazy Horse Memorial, la più grande scultura del mondo, ancora in costruzione, si trova in South Dakota, sulle Black Hills sulla strada US Highway 16/385, a 17 miglia a sud-ovest di Mount Rushmore.
I lavori iniziarono nel 1984 dallo scultore Korczak Ziolkowski su richiesta dei Nativi Americani.
Korczak morì nel 1982. Sua moglie Ruth a la sua famiglia continuano a lavorare al progetto con la collaborazione del Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation.
Il Memorial comprende the Indian Museum Of North America, The Native American Cultural Center che era dedicato nel 1996 al Native American Day Celebration, lo studio dello scultore, oltre ad una nuova area di oltre 40.000 piedi quadrati (Orientation Center) e un teatro inaugurato nel Maggio del 2000.
Molti artisti nativi ed artigiani creano lì i loro lavori e ci sono molti visitatori specialmente nel periodo estivo.

Organized hike (once-a-year) up the mt. carving in progress, co-sponsored by AVA;
Memorial admission free* to hikers; $3 per person charge for the 10K (6.2 miles) hike
